Wilayah pesisir memiliki sumber daya alam yang melimpah, salah satunya adalah kelapa, yang selama ini belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal. Pada banyak komunitas pesisir, kelapa masih diolah secara sederhana dengan nilai tambah yang relatif rendah. Kondisi ini berdampak pada terbatasnya peningkatan pendapatan dan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Oleh karena itu, inovasi dalam diversifikasi produk kelapa menjadi langkah strategis untuk meningkatkan nilai ekonomi, memperluas peluang usaha, serta memperkuat ketahanan pangan dan ekonomi masyarakat pesisir. Buku ini menyajikan pemahaman konseptual dan praktik pemberdayaan masyarakat yang menempatkan masyarakat sebagai subjek utama pembangunan. Melalui pendekatan partisipatif, masyarakat didorong untuk mengenali potensi yang dimiliki, mengembangkan keterampilan, serta membangun kemandirian ekonomi berbasis sumber daya lokal. Inovasi diversifikasi produk kelapa yang dibahas dalam buku ini tidak hanya berorientasi pada peningkatan produksi, tetapi juga pada keberlanjutan lingkungan dan penguatan ekonomi lokal.
